 Miracles Happen
 The annual A.A. Convention with Al-Anon participation sponsored by the Gay and
Lesbian Fellowship of Orange County, California.
 

Mission Statement for Miracles Happen:  The Purpose for Miracles Happen is to provide a sober environment for gay men and gay women, recovering from alcoholism within the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous.  The Board of Directors and Committee will structure its activities within the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous and AA Guidelines for Conferences and Conventions.  The culmination of our progress and intent will be celebrated at an annual convention to be held in Orange County, California and known as Miracles Happen.

 We are honored and excited to serve as your Board Members for Miracles Happen 2011.  We are looking forward to a year full of fellowship, recovery, and good times.  We have many wonderful fundraisers planned for each month of the year.  Although we are a convention specifically for the LGBT recovery community, everyone is welcome to participate.  Also, the Board encourages everyone who is in recovery to participate in our events -- no one will be turned away for inability to pay the suggested donations to our fundraisers.  If you are unable to pay, please find a way to volunteer and help out.   Please join us and you will surely discover what the Big Book means when it says, "We are not a glum lot."

Miracles Happen Committee meetings are held the first Sunday of every month at Noon in the meeting room of the
Canyon  Club, Laguna Beach.  Many commitments are still available.  Be of service by volunteering.
